Cameron SemmensPoet. Performer.Cameron makes his living as a performance poet. He has had 8 books and 4 CDs of his poetry published. He’s performed and run workshops for over 15 years throughout Australia in schools, churches, pubs, conferences and festivals. In 2004 he worked as Artist in Residence for Café Church Glebe, and came 2nd in The New Media Poetry Prize of the Australian Poetry Festival. And in 1999 he won the NSW Writer’s Centre Poetry Cup. Cameron is also on the committee for Wordsmiths of Melbourne, a poetry group with a Christian ethos. He lives in Melbourne with his wife Sonya, who is also a writer. |
