Charles Darwin's 200th Birthday Parties10.30 am and 5.30 pm, 12 FebruaryCharles Sturt UniversityAlbury and Wagga WaggaScientists from around southern NSW have been invited to two separate parties for drinks and cake (complete with 200 candles) to celebrate Charles Darwin's 200th birthday. One of these parties will be held after work in the Albury Botanic Gardens (New South Wales, Australia), and the other will be held as a morning tea on the CSU Wagga Wagga campus. More details can be found at: www.csu.edu.au/Darwin The gatherings will be an opportunity for the media and other researchers to recognise the early career researchers continuing the work of great scientists of the past like Charles Darwin. |
