200 years after Charles Darwin's birth and 150 years since the publication of On the Origins of Species, join him and some of his colleges on the voyage of a lifetime. Richard Neville, from the Mitchell Library, describes the contribution of the artist Conrad Martens, who joined the Beagle for a year; and Dr Brett Summerell, from the Botanic Gardens, assesses the contribution of botanist/surgeon Joseph Hooker who later classified Darwin's Galapagos plants and became his greatest friend. $39 Bookings Essential.
