Speaker: Professor Marcus W. Feldman
Professor of Biology

New technologies have produced a vast amount of information on how the human genome varies around the world. This information can be used to illustrate the evolutionary history of modern humans over the past 100,000 years, the biological relevance of race, and how natural selection might have acted to produce today's patterns of worldwide genomic variation.
Admission: Free
If you are attending this lecture, you may also wish to attend the 8pm public lecture by Professor Steve Jones:
Is Human Evolution Over?
Marcus W. Feldman is a Professor of Biology at Stanford University.
