Richard Thomas

Richard Thomas is a classically trained singer who has been entertaining Melbourne audiences over the past 15 years.

He has performed in theatre productions including Mame, Sweet Charity, Follies, The Secret Garden, Les Miserables, Chicago and Rebecca and played the lead role of Leo Bloom in the 2007 season of The Producers.

Over the years Richard has performed for various corporates including Crown, AMP and Volvo, local councils including the cities of Stonnington, Manningham, Knox and Mooonee Valley, social groups such as the Freemasons of Victoria, Lions and Rotary Clubs and several charities including the Royal Children's Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Starlight Foundation and Kids Tennis Foundation.

He is also a popular wedding singer and a regular artist for St Paul’s Cathedral, The Choral Institute Melbourne (CHIME) and The Melbourne Singers and has also been a regular at Manningham Carols by Candlelight for many years.

Richard has recorded three albums, The Impossible Dream, I Need To Know and The Voice Within that have enjoyed critical acclaim from music writers worldwide. Melbourne radio and television icon Philip Brady wrote of his recent album “Here is one star who continues to ascend. He just gets better at each recording session.”
